Connect the Dots | Our Kids in Nepal

Vision Nationals’ plants churches, trains nationals and cares for orphans and widows everywhere we work. In Nepal, our ministries are led by Joel and Sue Garrison. Below is an update on Mercy Home, our children’s home in Nepal.

All the girls model their new scarves.

The winter months in Nepal often see a shortage in electricity and gas, making for cold, dark days. This year, as usual, there are 14 hour blocks of no-electricity. But thankfully the gas shortage is not so bad!

In the midst of the cold all our kids received a new scarf knitted by members of Canyon Hills Community Church in Bothell, WA. What a blessing of warmth and love this winter season!

Science experiments with the boys.

Then, in the photo to the right you can see Noah and Catheryn Dawes, visitors from Vancouver, doing science experiments with all the boys from Mercy Home! What excitement as the boys experienced first hand the wonders of the created world!
