News From Home of the Swallow

Vision Nationals partners with The Family Connection Foundation in Thailand to bring hope to single mothers in Thailand.

Bann Dok Mai Ba

Home of the Swallow is one of the few homes in Thailand that helps pregnant women and single mothers to care for their children. Recently we have been connecting with another home with a similar vision outside of Chiang Mai that helps hill tribe women and children.

Through relationship with them, one of our girls Sumalee has received enough support to be able to start work in our Home of the Swallow Nursery and care for her daughter Kaeo throughout the day too.

Sumalee grew up in an orphanage with her younger brother, as her parents passed away when she was young, and she has a heart to train to be a childcare worker so she can one day work in an orphanage and help other young children who are growing up just like she did.

We and Kaeo are thankful for the support from Bann Dok Mai Ba (Wildflower Home) that allows Sumalee to work, train and invest in her future and that of her baby girl.
