Training Nationals

Vision Nationals trains nationals on two fronts – Urban and Rural.

Training up urban leaders centers around our fully-accredited seminary – Master’s College of Theology. Here we train young middle and upper class leaders to reach an educated urban population. With a strong emphasis on practical ministry, each student is required to be actively involved in hands-on ministry while studying with us.

In this video a Master’s College of Theology student, John Babu, shares his story.

Right now we have students at our seminary from India, Thailand, Burma, and Nepal. Every year we see graduated students starting missional, gospel-centered churches in their home countries. Some graduates partner with us to plant churches in urban centers in India. Our vision: to see Ten Thousand Churches planted throughout Asia.

We train rural leaders in India through quarterly conferences and tight networking on the local level for intensive discipleship. We have translated the BILD curriculum into our regional language to use for theological training with our rural pastors.

In Nepal we train most men through an intensive six-month training program. Some are sent to India to study at Master’s College of Theology.

In Thailand we partner with Lahu Living Word to train up Lahu speaking nationals in Thailand, Myanmar and Chinarun through correspondance training courses. Some Thai and Lahu men are sent to India to study at Master’s College of Theology.
