With Christmas right around the corner, we thought it’d be fun to create a wish list for our ministry, something that captures what we hope and pray God will accomplish in the coming year.
Like the wish lists we created as children, our list is audacious and aspirational, charged with faith. Even as we share it with you, we offer it up as a prayer to the One who has the ability to do infinitely more than all we ask or imagine.
Our one wish is that we would be in a position to bring Master’s Village to life in 2016.
We are deeply committed, and have been for almost twenty years, to transforming the lives of India’s poorest children. Master’s Village builds on that legacy and is conceived as a place of refuge for vulnerable, abandoned, and orphaned kids — a place where they are cared for, educated, loved, and empowered to reach their potential. It’s home and family for those who have neither.
God helping us, what we’d like to do is purchase a few acres of land and begin building two modest children’s homes (one for boys and one for girls), a cafeteria, and, eventually, a school. An ambitious proposal, perhaps, but we are already more than halfway towards our funding goal. All that separates us from buying property and breaking ground is $150,000.
Would you consider making a financial gift so that Master’s Village can become a reality?
As we approach the end of 2015, it’s our sincere hope that you’ll keep us in mind as you finalize your year-end giving plans. Due in large part to your generosity, we anticipate that by this time next year Master’s Village will be much more than a wish and well on its way to becoming a reality.
